Ready for a Fun, Family Adventure?
NB Church is excited to offer a community-wide, free, interactive family event: a digital Easter Egg scavenger hunt that combines the fun of hunting eggs and the joy of celebrating Easter into a family adventure! All you need is your family, a smart phone, a mode of transportation (preferably car but time portals will work too), and maybe some snacks... totally up to you on the last one.
How does this "Egg Hunt" work?
Hunt Map
The hunt will begin at New Beginnings Church (151st & Harvard). Come by on Saturday, April 16th from 8a-12p to get your kit & map, then you’re off to “collect” as many eggs (hidden in the nearby area) as you want!
Drive
Using the map & addresses, drive to the locations of the eggs you want to find. Some eggs are specially marked; these are Easter Story eggs! Check your Adventure Book to collect all parts of the story.
You've Found an Egg!
Scan the QR code on the Egg with your phone, complete the activity as a family (and be sure to mark this Egg found in your Adventure Book) and you're off to the next egg! Have fun!

FAQ's
Yes!! We will have all the supplies you’ll need for this adventure (minus the cars and phones, this isn’t Oprah) as well as a kids goodie bag and t-shirt if you register! (While supplies last)
8a – 12p on Saturday is when someone will be available at the church to hand out the starter kit (map, Adventure Book, supplies, etc) and christen your vehicle with a bottle as you embark on your adventure! (Probably kidding… that would involve liability issues).
Only if you are an over-achiever; all we have are participation trophies. Seriously though, you can choose how many eggs you’d like to find or whatever you have time for! Specially marked eggs will have components of the Easter Story and coincide with the Adventure Book; but in case you don’t have time to find all the eggs, we will have the complete story posted here on Easter.
You might ring their doorbell a few dozen times to ask, just in case. KIDDING…
All yards included in the hunt are church members and they are fully aware what comes with the Kids Director asking you to stick a sign in their yard… 😉 Feel free to say “Hello!” if you see them while you’re there!
Nope! You can go at your own pace and if you don’t want to or can’t finish, no big deal. If you would like to continue “hunting” eggs after 12p, that’s perfectly fine… although we can’t guarantee the “eggs” will still be in place. (No scaling people’s fences… we’ll just say “Told you so” if you get arrested.)
Sure, the more the merrier!! Invite friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc or have a D-Group (NB’s small groups are called Discipleship Groups) caravan… you’ll want to have some witnesses for some of the silly activities once you start finding eggs. Want to dress up or decorate your car? GO FOR IT!
You can borrow ours… though it might need a flux capacitor. And the Time Stone. Minor details… but you might have better luck using a car.
