Tulsa Learning Community
New Beginnings partners with Union School of Theology, an institution based in the UK, to provide robust pastoral training and theological education within a Learning Community right here in Tulsa, OK.
What degrees can I complete? The Tulsa Learning Community offers the Graduate Diploma in Theology and the Masters of Theology (MTh) in Tulsa. The GDip is a level 6 degree, academically equivalent to an MA in the U.S. The MTh is a level 7 degree, very similar to the ThM in the U.S.
How does it work? The GDip meets together weekly during the Fall and Spring Semesters. The MTh meets together for intensive weekends 4 times a year as well as online for further interaction between face to face intensives. The GDip and MTh can each be completed in 3 years of part time study. During the time together, students will watch lectures from Union’s world class faculty, and a designated Lead Mentor will facilitate discussion and learning around the lecture, readings, and assignments.
